Is this electric Jeep just a concept, or is it actually going into production?
The Trailhawk is a concept, but whispers around the campfire (or should we say, charging station) say a production version is highly likely. Jeep themselves are hinting at it, and it just seems like a no-brainer, right?
So, how off-road ready is this electric beast?
They say it's designed to be the most capable electric off-roader ever. It's got a 3-inch lift for more ground clearance, beefed-up bumpers for those tricky trails, and an extra-grippy set of tires. Plus, it's got fancy Jeep tech like Selec-Terrain with a new Rock mode and a rear axle locker. Basically, this thing is built to conquer the outdoors, minus the gas guzzling.
Will it have the same insane power as the regular Wagoneer S?
We don't have official specs yet, but Jeep isn't known for skimping on power. The base Wagoneer S packs a punch with 600 horsepower, so expect the Trailhawk to be no slouch either.
Forget rock crawling, what about the interior? All muddy paw prints and stuff?
Jeep says the inside is decked out in stain-resistant (and hopefully drool-proof) synthetic leather. Plus, they haven't forgotten creature comforts - think heated and ventilated seats for those post-adventure chills.
